We were contacted via our website by a manufacturing company based in Manchester. We were asked to quote for a complete portal frame warehouse unit.
Their business had grown over the last five years and they were running out of room in their workshop to expand their business. They needed more space to meet the high demands of their customers and they also required an office space where they could talk to their customers and organise manufacturing schedules.
They had done their research online and found out that portal frame buildings can offer a large amount of floor space with lots of natural light whilst being very affordable and a quick way of constructing a new workshop, office, warehouse or factory building.
They had some initial plans drawn up and then decided to get some quotes from local companies. They found us online and decided to get in touch via our quick quote form where they uploaded their plans. We were able to respond the same day with a competitive quote. They were happily surprised when finding out we offer a complete package, and there was no need to try and find different trades for the groundwork, piling, steel fabrication, steel erection, cladding etc.
We visited the site the next day for a free survey and were able to suggest some minor changes to the original plans that would let us complete the construction faster and at a lower cost. The next week we broke ground on the site, sending in our specialist groundwork and piling team in to prepare the site ready for the structural steel. Whilst our steel fabrication team worked around the clock to get the structural steel ready for delivery.
A few weeks later the structural steel arrived on the site in Manchester which really excited our client. The crane arrived and my favourite part began. In just 2 days all the structural steel was erected! This makes all our clients realise they picked an Elite Team. In just over 8 weeks the warehouse was complete and looked brilliant.
Our clients business now had the perfect space to expand. We kept in touch to make sure there were no problems, and when we made a site visit shortly after they had moved into the new building, it was great to see that they had been able to fulfil their ambitions and take there company to the next level.
